Rated 5 out of 5 by from easier to hit flush and in the air. I'm much older now. I have a shorter 80mph swing producing less power from the days of my 4th and 5th decades as a 6 handicap with a 98 mph swing. I replaced my 4, 5 and 6 irons with hybrids recently. Now I can get the ball higher in the air. My swing is still down the line and these clubs enhance my consistent compact swing. Plus, I have gained a little more distance. Crisp club head feel. I play a soft ball now like the E6 soft or Titleist Tour Soft. Try these out. Ping has really done a great job in creating accurate and great feeling clubs. If you don't have a terrible swing, you will be smiling watching your ball fly at your target.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PING Quality is second to none I was fit for a mixed bag and purchased the 19* G400 to get started after being hesistant to buy the whole fitted set right then. I also ordered a set of irons from another company. The Ping hybrid was spot on to my specs, and the irons were not even close. I ordered a putter from Ping also and again it was spot on. Needless to say, as a stickler for quality and exactness, I will be ordering a full set from Ping and the other irons will be up for sale. It is clear which company cares more and has more attention to detail. The club performs well, high launching and retains ball speed all over the face. I have the Tour shaft which is very stable, but has enough kick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best club in my bag! Had a Taylormade Hybrid for years and it was time for an upgrade. I went to a custom fitting shop and hit a few different clubs, but the ping felt best. I have had it in the bag for 4 rounds now. I really like the feel of the club during the swing. I can easily tell where the head is at all time. At contact, the sound is like a crisply cracked egg and the feel is about as close to a forged iron as you can get with a hybrid. The ball flight has a nice shape and I have not experienced any ballooning. I can hit the 19 from 190 to 205 by just chocking down a bit. It is really a great club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply awesome! I've had the 19° hybrid for about 9 months now, and it has exceeded all of my expectations. The feel on good shots is nothing short of spectacular. Even on mishits it doesn't hurt you, but you know enough to know you missed it. Distance is solid, and I can trust this club from the rough to get me out of a jam, and get me back into play. In fact, whenever I do end up in the rough I simply grab this club and know I can recover with this club. The feel and sounds is similar to the G400 driver, which is fantastic. I am very happy with my purchase of this club and I would imagine this will remain in my bag for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ping should be proud of this club Recently I purchased the 19 degree G400 Hybrid. Hitting anything but irons off the deck has been a major weakness of my game. Not anymore thanks to this golf club. The shaft and club head are beautifully matched and you really feel the kick through impact. I’ve never experienced that before. Golf is a hard game but using this club is actually fun; a word I rarely use in connection with my golf game. Thanks Ping, you should be proud of this product. Ps. Looking seriously at the 22 degree model:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My mouth never closed! I've been a believer in Ping woods and irons for years and years. I've been playing the G25 driver, 3 wood and 3 hybrid since they came out. The G30 series came out...but didn't like or hit that as well as my G25 series. They now sit in my office as a memory. This week I purchased a 5 hybrid that I needed. The new G400 series sets up very square....which I LOVE. The real test was on the course. I used the club on maybe a dozen shots. Every shot was dead on...even the one shot where I KNEW my swing was horrible. It still went straight! The launch angle..the height...the distance were enough to leave me standing there with my mouth open in amazement. I'm a 13 handicapper...and i do miss greens from 165 to 180 out. Usually..if I get close...I'm happy! Yesterday's round...I was hitting greens from that distance and actually putting it close to the hole. To say that I'm happy is an understatement. Now I just have to contain myself from going out and getting the entire line-up of G400 woods. The bad part is...I probably will! After seeing the results from my 5 hybrid my golfing buddy went down to the local golf store and bought a three hybrid. He was sold by just seeing my results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid I really like these clubs meaning the G400 driver, fairways, and hybrids. Started with a 5W, liked it so much got the driver, then 3W, then 4hyb, then replaced the 5W with a 3hyb because I liked the 4hyb so much. I also did a lot of research on 3hyb vs 5W and a fitting. The 3hyb being shorter by over 2" and the versatility vs slightly longer carry, and softer landing of the 5W, but same distance just achieved in different ways. The 3hyb served my needs better with more consistency and confidence than the 5W. It comes down to which you like better, after reading countless threads on the subject of 3hyb vs 5W.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from G400 22* and 17* Hybrid Of course I bought these in December and now the G410’s came out. But, I’m very happy with my G400 Hybrids. I play with a 9* driver and these 2 hybrids to take place of a 3 & 5 woods. The sound from these hybrids after a nicely struck ball has a nice metal ping sound. I’m able to shape my shots a little better with the hybrid better than my woods, especially in the rough or fairway. Distance and flight is very predictable. My only wish for these hybrids was to have a removable shaft and an adjustable loft like the G400 driver. Other than that, it’s a perfect club for my 90-97mph swing speed.
