Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tongue issue is no more, got the grey XD and love em Currently loving the shoe true fit to size. I wear size 11 and feels great on my feet. I tried the previous version of the shoe and read the reviews on the tongue ripping but with the XD design don’t have to worry about that due to being an actual cushion regular tongue. The shoes look great and I’m already feeling the difference in lifts on leg days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Full review/sizing advice I was looking all around for a good weightlifting shoe but I had never bought a pair. I have been increasing a lot of my numbers at the gym so I figured it was time to get a little more serious. Nike has always been my favorite brand so I came here and found the romaleos 3 XD. I was not sure of the sizing so I went to a store to see if they had them but unfortunately I couldn’t find them anywhere, closest thing I could find was metcons(4). I’m usually a size 8 or 8.5 in basketball shoes from Nike But I tried on the metcons and found my size was 7 with the metcons and decided I’d buy romaleos online in the same size(7). When they came in they fit perfectly, I recommend you go about a size down from the average Nike shoe. I went straight to the gym to try them out. They felt great it felt like I was glued to the floor when I squated and it has enough give on the toe to let you walk around the gym comfortably. They are super stable like you’d expect, awesome support and the quality of the shoe feels like it’s worth every cent can’t wait to continue using these, thank you for reading my review.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Narrow Nice construction. But incredibly narrow. I was able to fit into the same size romaleos 2 and original 3. There is absolutely no give so returning my pair. Buyers with wider feet beware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very lightweight; Perfect for Olympic Weightlifting Comparing these to my Adipower 3's, they are much more lightweight. More suitable for Oly, versus my Adipowers which are more suited for Powerlifting due to the weight and level of cushioning. The Romaleo 3 XD's also have a much higher heel than my Adipowers. I wouldn't say it's bad, as when I used them to do squats and power snatches, they still felt comfortable. I was able to squat deeper with a higher heel so I just need to get used to them. The leather upper is a nice touch and makes them stand out from the previous Romaleo 3's. THE INFAMOUS TONGUE: The flimsy tongue that was bound to rip or tear off and plagued the previous Romaleo 3's has been solved but I feel that Nike over exaggerated the solving of the issue by slapping on a cartoon-ish looking puffy tongue. It looks fine in pictures and in the box, but when they're on and strapped, the tongue sticks out like a puffy pillow, it looks hilarious. That is the ONLY GRIPE I have about this newly updated version of the Romaleos. I might try to shove it down further into the shoe so it doesn't stick out so much next time I wear them. Overall highly recommend and am loving them. *sidenote* I've always fit into a 9 in most shoes, and I guessed right by going a half size down to a 8.5 and they fit like a glove. (they are a tad narrow so if you have very wide feet these shoes might not be for you, cuz even if you go a size larger, the narrowness will still be there)
