Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these for any type of workout I've been super happy with these shoes. I've used them for both strength and cardio classes at F45 and for 3G (20min rowing, 20 min strength, 20 min treadmill) classes at Orange Theory. They are the perfect balance of stability when you need it lifting/squats and cushioning for running. 2 - 3 mile runs on the treadmill feel similar to wearing stability oriented running shoes, like the Mizuno Wave. My only complaint is the plastic squeaks a little just walking around, but I really only notice it when I'm in my house without any other noise around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another very good Metcon I loved my first Metcon Free X's, and I think these are a slight upgrade. The sock-like fit is is more supportive, although I had to go 1/2 size up (I have a very wide toe-box). I definitely feel they're more stable for heavy lifts, thanks to what seems like a slight decrease in cushioning. Still very comfortable, but not quite as soft. The only thing I don't like is--yes--the squeak. It's real, and kind of a drag. That said, you don't really hear it in a loud gym environment, so it's worth it given the many positive attributes of the shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Secure, Stylish Training Shoe This shoe is fantastic! I train in it 3-4 times a week through a mixture of heavy weighted interval training, cardio interval training, and HIIT. The sock-like feel is so comfortable and secure around the foot that when your shoelace unties, you really cannot tell it is untied. The shoe width allows you to spread your toes to get close to a natural, barefoot feel with a solid base. The Free X Metcon sole profile and technology is a great mix for a variety of workout outs. I recommend this shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good overall training shoe I'm using these for a variety of training situations from lifting to interval training. The shoes are stable enough to handle lifts and kettlebell training, but flexible enough for intervals and quick short runs (under a mile.) They are a little stiff under the midsole due to the firm platform, but I adjusted to it quickly. I'd recommend for those looking for a versatile trainer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok As a Personal Trainer, I feel these shoes are ok. They are extremely light and flexible. The down side for myself is, they hurt after a long day of training clients. Sessions are back to back so I have no time to switch shoes. They are very good for lifting and a few miles of running though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good sneaker for weight lifting could do without the squeek. Bought these shoes a week ago and while they are very nice for lifting weights and short runs, mine have a horrible squeek in both shoes. Hard to like them too much with the noise they make. Wish I bought something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Comfortable shoe but falls apart quickly. Bought a pair and in under a month the tread on the bottom began to fall off. Returned and got a replacement pair and the same thing happened in under a week. Wouldn’t recommend until this issue is fixed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sole Coming Off Overall amazing shoe for lifting and quick short runs. However was very disappointed after parts of the sole started to lift up/ come off within the first month.
