Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome tent for our 4p family We got this tent last min before the upcoming river trip. The set up was very intuitive, altgough we have not used the fly yet... the nights were warm, so we only needed to keep out the bugs and it worked great, the zippers work flawlesly and effortlessly, kids 6 and 4 could operate with ease. We gazed at the stars thru the mesh, so cool! Cant wait to use it again. Also great for tall guys, my husband is 6'5'' and felt very comfortable. It is very spacious and our family of 4 could function without gettig on top of each other constantly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Rad Desert Adventures...and car campin I have had this tent for over 4 years and it holds up to all the abuse I can give it. It has withstood three MAJOR wind storms (2 near Zion and 1 near Fuita, CO), the poles might be a little squirrely after the storms but tent still performs perfectly. We use this tent about 10 weekends a year from the mountains to the desert and it works great every time. Plenty of room to spread out, you can stand up inside of it (I"m 5'11) and it's easy to setup (and takedown) with just one person.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Limestone 6P good but could use improvement. Used tent for first time this past weekend. Easy to setup. Good height for 6'4" person. Held up well in high winds first night, with rain fly tie outs. Good size for 2 adults and 2 dogs. Small rip occurred in screen door with first use, so mesh material not very forgiving. Was a bit cold in tent with low of 45 F. One door is solid, other door is screen. Suggested improvement would be for both doors to have screen and solid material. Would be nice to have option of both doors solid to retain heat in tent or both vestibules open with screen doors for airflow. Overall, nice tent. Hard to find tent with all the features we were looking for. This one came the closest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great family camping tent We bought this tent to replace our old 6 person tent, which was not great in poor weather. The Limestone 6p survived some very heavy rains in Canada this summer, kept us dry, and was a spacious upgrade. The materials are very high quality and seem quite durable. The tent took two people for us to set up, but if you are housing 4-6, extra hands should not be a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in rain; not as great in heavy winds Have 2 year old model - slightly different doors and fly. I use it about 15 times a year for 2-6 days at a time. Has stayed completely dry in heavy thunderstorms. Be sure to use the fly and all tie down points in heavy winds. I did not use the corner ties available halfway up each corner of the fly and tent collapsed in on windward side in 25 mph sustained winds with 45 mph gusts, bending the poles. The center has about 4' x 4' area with over a six foot height. If setting up alone, toss the fly over the tent with the wind at your back to help carry it over. The footprint has prevented anything from poking through the floor. Max occupancy with inflatable air mattresses is four. Without the fly, the solid fabric extends up to a 3-4 foot height from the floor, making it easy to change clothes with a degree of privacy even with the mesh on the upper half of the tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I've ever owned. I've owned several tents in my life. However never owned one with this build quality. After 3 outings with it, one including rain and wind, I've reached this conclusion. The materials and workmanship used for this tent rate among the best in the industry. The only downfalls are the tent stakes provided are worthless. Fortunately I already had better ones to use. Not good. Also, for the price of the tent they could have provided guylines. Fortunately I already had them too. Other than that it is excellent. I didn't deduct a star for those 2 issues I had, others may. Are you listening?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Roomy This is my third Marmot tent. I bought this to be a base tent mostly to be used on multi day river trips. Pros: -Very roomy and tall. I’m 6’ and can stand in the center no problems. Used two twin air mattresses and had plenty of room for a small action packer to be inside with random gear. -Tent did not leak with moderate rain, didn’t experience any sort of leaking from anywhere -IMHO, I would not purchase a new tent that doesn’t have two doors/vestibules for storage. These tent doors are large and there is plenty of room for gear to be outside. - Fairly easy to setup, two people make it a breeze. Cons: -Ripped the rain fly on the sewn seam, near the bottom next to the tensioning buckle the first night. I was not pulling that tight. SUPER surprised that it ripped. -I knew getting into this tent the floor material was the same thickness as my other Marmot’s. But I have think most people looking at this tent is not real worried about weight because it’s not a backpacking tent. That being said, I purchased the floor saver also but I would not recommend any sort of “military” style cots. I think it would destroy the floor quickly. A thicker floor would be a great revision for this tent and it’s market of buyers. Overall happy with it. Bummed about the rain fly, I’m sure Marmot would make it right with me if I asked. It serves its purpose and I will keep using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Family Tent This is a quality tent with sturdy poles, a generous footprint, vestibule space and interior height. As a family of four with a dog, this fits us perfect for long trips. As someone 5'3" it is challenging, but do-able to set up myself.
