Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing bike! I bought this bike a bit over a month ago, and it has been a dream. It rides beautifully, handles roots and rocks and holes amazingly. I've been taking it out daily on various terrains and it hasn't disappointed me once. I'm very gratified the he myriad of positive reviews on other sites were true! I bought it when it was 50% off at Dick's and can't believe what a great deal it was, although honestly even if I had paid full price it would've been worth it. I can only say I absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting a good women's mountain bike that won't break the bank. My daughter is dying to buy one for herself, and keeps "borrowing" mine when we ride together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Bike! For the price, it's hard to beat the quality and features on this bike. The lightweight aluminum frame, mechanical disc brakes, and Shimano gears make this bike feel and perform like a bike at least twice the price! Rides very nicely on both paved roadways/ bike paths but also performs well on the trail handling rocks, roots, etc with ease. Great buy if you want a good multipurpose bike that you can use for most moderate/intermediate trails as well as just riding around time. Dicks did a great job tuning the bike and was almost ride ready straight out of the store. Comparable with most mid-range bikes you would find at a bike shop, if you can find one on sale at Dicks you are getting a great deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great bike. store employees were super helpful. We went to the store maybe 5 times before we bought this bike. We just wanted to make sure this was the right bike for me (in fact a day later my husband got the men's version for himself). I'm about 165 pounds, 5.5 and 36 yo. this is my second bike that I own in my life. first one was when I was a the high school.... so anyways, we got a small frame, tires are 27.5. I'm not a pro biker, and we got one from Costco and returned it, then bought another from walmart and returned it. they were 69$ and 182$. for some one like me, this is way better than what I was thinking to buy, and we also got a great deal, so for that price nothing can go wrong. color is so good, it even glows at night. bike itself is pretty light weight, which makes it easy for me lift it up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good bike, awful seat I bought this bike to ride on a local canal trail. The trail is flat and has loose sand and gravel and the bike handles it well. I'm happy with the bike except for the saddle. The seat begins to cause pain immediately upon riding. I rode 5 miles and my sit bones felt sore for two days afterwards. I thought the saddle would be very simple to replace, but traditional saddle clamps do not work on this seat post. The clamp that comes with the bike is too narrow to fit on the rails of the saddle I ordered. I will probably have to go to a specialty bike shop to make the seat work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great entry level bike for the price! Bought this bike on sale a few weeks back as an entry level bike for my girlfriend. So far so good, we haven’t went on anything too rough but definitely put some miles on it! Only minor complaints are the brakes tend to squeak and the 15” frame is tough to fit on my bike rack with another bike. Overall for the price you won’t find a better bike!! Very pleased so far, will update this review after some harder off-road terrain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong, sturdy bike- great for mountain biking! I bought this bike about one month ago, and I am so glad that I did! I had been wanting to purchase a mountain bike for about a year, but I was always worried about the high price tag for something I was afraid would break too easily. This bike came at a great price, and I can certainly say that it is sturdy! It held up perfectly well on a pretty tough trail (including one unfortunate encounter with a tree), and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional value! What a great bike for the price, my wife is very happy with it. I did have to get a better, more comfortable seat for her but that's not a big deal. Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value for the $$$ I bought this bike for my girlfriend 2 weeks ago on sale for 50% ($299) and we are both pleased so far . I went for the sky blue color which she loves .Getting a trusted brand name Like GT for that price is unheard of. I have a cannondale Trail2 which I bought on sale for $1000 more than that , and even though the Cannondale does have some better components, the 2 bikes are still relatively comparable. Im sure some of you are not sure which size to get .My girlfriend is 5'6" which is right between the 15" and 17" sizing. 15" is a small and 17" is a medium . I purchased the 17 as just a roll of the dice and the bike fits fine , I'm sure the 15 would have worked just as well . I ordered it online and had to assemble it . Dont get intimidated by that , the bike is nearly assembled, all you have to do is put on the seat , handle bars, pedals, forks and front wheel and run the front brake cable through the brake caliper. after that just make sure the cables are neatly placed along the frame . I had to adjust the brakes because they were rubbing a bit , but it's very simple and there are plenty of YouTube tutorials to help you out . Two sizes of Allen keys , a Phillips screwdriver and wrench just to tighten the pedals is all you need . Dont think you're saving money if you buy a cheap department store bike, you'll pay somehow. If this bike is just 100 bucks over your budget , my advice is to just go for it because the value for the dollar is definitely right here in this GT Laguna and mens Aggressor. A bike with the same components could easily run between $600 - $800 at a local bike shop . Neither of us has ridden it yet , but from the solid build quality and components I dont expect to be disappointed. Great deal , go for it !
