Rated 4 out of 5 by from good features Bought this tent year and a half ago. Use it for scouts and camping in general. Very waterproof. Some say they don't like the fly as it lets in to much air. All you have to do is tie the guide ropes closer to the tent. just a learning curve. wished it had less screen for a little more privacy without the fly on. The screen is very soft which is easy to snag and tear holes in it. Very easy to set up would like to see poles marked so you don't mix them up. As the pole for the vestibule is shorter and hard to distinguish. I keep that pole tied separately with Velcro. We do really like this tent and thinking of purchasing the 6-8 man now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for inclement weather Setting up this tent in breezy/windy conditions is very difficult, and the wind will knock it over once set up. The bent poles make for more room inside, but the bends make for a pivot point. The tent will not stay up in a breeze without the rain fly. The rain fly barely covers the mesh windows so don't expect to stay dry in rain and wind. The vestibule is a nice idea, but it too will be blown loose. After two days of 10-15 mph wind, a tent pole broke and the rain fly ripped. I brought it back as soon as I got home. It is roomy and generally nice it you have light winds (less than 10 mph) and fair weather, that's why I didn't give it one star.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from just got back from our first trip with this tent It did okay. I love the size, I don't love all the guide strings, they do take up a lot of room around the tent and are hard to see in the dark. We had one night of 3 1/2 inches of rain in about 45 minutes (it was nuts) and there was a little water in the tent but it was hard to determine how it got in-we're thinking that it splashed up on the sides through the screens. It was zipped up tight. The tent WAS sitting in 2" of water for about an hour before it drained off the campsite (trenching was fun). We can't see that the water got in through the bottom anywhere. It's a 2 person tent though, four would be really, really tight. But for 2? It works

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stood up in severe weather The first time we used this tent was VERY windy when we set it up. It was difficult by myself, but with another person to help was very easy. At one point, as the poles were blowing over in the wind, I wondered if I had made a mistake and if it would hold up. Over the course of the weekend, we had constant winds that were pretty strong - whitecaps on the lake the entire time. We had rain. We had hail. The tent stood strong and everything stayed dry. We really liked the little vestibule it provided a space to store a few things and put on shoes. Even without a floor, everything in the vestibule stayed dry. Space was adequate for 2 adults with air mattresses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It...... I purchased the Lodge 2 years ago. Used it 10 times. Still in great shape. The veranda is so awesome to have. My ground tarp is cut to fit so it extends into the veranda. I set up a fold-up stool in the veranda for taking off shoes and boots, store firewood, etc. Inside has plenty of space for two, with cots and chairs. It has been in a few rain storms. Minor water inside, even with a flood passing under the tent. Set up is easy for one person. Two weeks ago rain was coming and I set up the tent in 20 myself. Glad I purchased this tent I recommend this tent , for space and ease of set-up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Field & Stream Wilderness Lodge 4 Person Tent I bought this about 4 months ago to get into camping after camping with some friends, This is our first tent we've owned and we took it to Niagara Falls to camp for 3 days and it was great! The tent held up for us in our first thunderstorm that lasted one night. We stayed dry and the Fly kept the rain out perfectly and the floor stayed very dry. I would recommend this tent for couples who like to use a full size inflatable mattress. It left room for our small day packs to be inside and we were able to stand up in it as well. The pockets inside made it nice to place things like your cell phone or lights in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from travelling around US i have travelled around for 1 year and 1/2 sleeping in this tent in many conditions, it has held up pretty good, last week had a very bad wind storm that finally ripped my rain fly off and tore it but the next day i rubber cemented the tears and then sewed it and seams to be holding up nicely...ive also been in many rain storms and have found it to keep water out quite well. a zipper has broken and one elastic rope in the poles broke but i replace the elastic and just use only one of the zippers now in the door...although i know its now time for a new tent chances are i will buy another one of these because it is perfect for 1 person with one large cot i can sort of stand to get dressed and set it up alone quite quick it did hold up pretty darn good for a inexpensive tent!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's a $100.00 tent My wife and I have had this tent for a couple years now, this weekend was the first time we were in the rain. It started to rain fairly hard and the fly started to sag and collect water after 15 minutes. The wind picked up and the tent frame started to move around, I began to think if the tent would keep us dry. I noticed the stitching started to let water in. (The tent not tape sealed but floor and the fly was) The next tent will have a dome type frame, the floor will have a minimum of 2000mm coating, the fly a minimum of 1500mm coating, fly made with polyester and the entire tent tape sealed. More coating the heavier the tent but being this will be the car camping tent weight is not an issue.
