Product Information:

Geared to max out performance, Callaway Rogue X Irons unleash a total distance overhaul. Lighter weights, longer lengths and stronger lofts help golfers optimize speed. 360 Face Cup Technology combines with VFT to dramatically expand the sweet spot for explosive distance. A Urethane Microsphere layer between the face and body dampens vibration to improve sound and feel. Intricately positioned Tungsten weights optimize launch and control at each loft.

It’s Time To Go Rogue: Selecting Your Model

  • Callaway Rogue Irons: Long, accurate, easy-to-hit, versatile with greate sound and feel. Substantially-sized head with medium topline, medium sole-width and progressive offset.
  • Callaway Rogue X Irons: Lighter in weight and longer in length, with stronger lofts. Wide sole pulls the CG low and deep for easy, high launch and long carry.

360 Face Cup + Variable Face Thickness (VFT)

  • Technologies combine to dramatically expand the portion of the face that delivers fast ball speed, giving golfers more distance on off-center hits
  • 360 Face Cup employs a shallow, flexible rim around the perimeter of the face that flexes and releases at impact to increase ball speed
  • Variable Face Thickness (VFT) includes how the face itself flexes to promote even more ball speed on off center hits

Urethane Microspheres

  • Elastic-Urethane Microspheres provide the sound and feel benefits of urethane without compromising COR or ball speed
  • Engineered to combat the excessive vibration, unpleasant sound and harsh feel commonly produced by irons with thin faces
  • Urethane dampens vibration to improve sound and feel while also maintaining the performance benefits of increased face flex

MIM’d, Tungsten-Infused Standing Wave

  • Tungsten Weighting allows for extraordinarily precise CG positioning for optimum launch and control at each individual loft
  • Twice as heavy as steel, Tungsten concentrates significant weight into a small space to for an intricately shaped part
  • The result is a precisely controlled CG location engineered to maximize performance

KBS MAX 85 Steel Shafts

  • Lightweight shaft designed to help mid-to-high handicap golfers maximize iron performance
  • Produces higher trajectory and more spin to create longer distance and tighter dispersion
  • Lower kick point allows the club head to release through impact for higher launch
  • Lightweight design helps golfers maximize swing speed through impact

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent irons Callaway continues to produce the best irons on the market for all skill levels. The Rogue X irons are very forgiving. The head is a little bigger so it will give you distance off of mishits and the distance will still be there. It's a little chunky, but if you want to improve your game, Rogue X has the be in your bag. Callaway made them strong lofted so expect another 10 yrs out of each iron. I would highly recommend giving this set a look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unreal My irons were 9 years old. Taylor RBZ. I have lost distance over the past few years...2 clubs.Being a lefty, my choices were not that great. I got fitted and ordered the Rogue X. I am now hitting the ball 10-15 yaards longer with mishits still goijg straight. I am back to my old distances. I cannot say enough about these clubs. I am excited to play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised I demoed these a couple of times before I made the purchase, so I had very high expectations, and they have delivered. The lofts are one club stronger than my Pings, but the seven still launches like a 7 (maybe an 8) with the distance of my old 6 iron. It is freaking out my playing partners to see me hitting a 7 iron 155-160 yards. (I’m a retired sixty something). But a 150 club is still a 150 club regardless of the number stamped on the sole, so the real improvement for me has been the tight disbursement. I hit more greens and had more makeable birdie putts last week than anytime in 50 years of golf. I love the feel of the lighter shafts, and I think that is a big part of the improvement formula. I play close to 100 rounds a year and I am a 11 to 14 handicap depending on the weather. I have never gotten my index below 10.5, But I think that I have a chance with these new irons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My friends say my Rogue X irons are illegal...lol! I have had the Rogue X irons for about 6 weeks so I have been getting used to them. I just got back from a 5 day golf trip with my golf buddies and they told me these clubs should be illegal. Being 150 yds out and pulling out a 9 iron instead of my old 8 iron was pretty comforting let me tell you. I really like a high ball flight and these clubs fit the bill. Very nice trajectory. When we get on a 175 yd par 3 and everyone else is hitting a 6 iron or 5 iron, I'm hitting 7 iron. Yes, they are strong lofted, but they give you a great high ball flight that will land softly. They're a little more chunky than I am used too, but after 5 straight days of play I just fell in love with them. I have been a Callaway fan for years but this set is by far the best set that I have owned. Give them a hard look. You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very forgiving irons I have a high handicap, around 24 for 18 holes. The irons are giving me the true distance that I had with the Callaway Z-12, Went with a Taylor Made knock off and I regretted it, I lost a entire club length in distance, Last Feb, at the Cleveland Golf Expo. I had the opportunity to try new irons out. I really liked the Rogue X, So I bought them at a discounted price. I am excited to use them this golf season, In my Golf league I have to tee off from the blues until I am 65, I need all the distance that I can get, Old clubs made the par 4 play like it was par 5. I hope to bring my handicap down this year. Callaway is always dependable for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miss hits still carry ! I’m used to playing mizuno blades so when I opened box and saw them for the first time I didn’t think I would get used to the size. I started on range and found the top edge wide but as I started hitting my PW 145-150 effortlessly I thought “I can get used to these”. If you’re a 7-12 hcp. I highly recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rogue X Irons Accuracy Issues I have owned the Rogue X graphite shaft irons for just over a month and lost a lot of accuracy with them. i kept thinking things would improve but they just didn't work out. I contacted Callaway to try and work out a return for a credit of some kind and they offered me $400. I paid $1200 for the clubs. This is my third set of Callaway irons and not sure how many woods and hybrids I have owned over the years but these will be my last. Really not happy with the customer service buying the clubs directly from the factory. I will try to sell on my own and will buy another brand of club rather than spending the credit on other Callaway clubs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprise Distance I’ve played at least 10 rounds of golf with my new Callaway Rogue X irons since my purchase in early March. I’m a 17 handicap. Wow! I really have to relearn my club distance. I’m hitting my 4 iron 215 yards plus...so I’ve stopped using my 3 wood...the iron is more accurate. The Approach Wedge has been great at about the 115 yard distance. The 56 degree SW is going to take some extra practice since I’ve been using a 60 degree SW for years. I’ve been golfing for more than 35 years with cheap clubs. But, I only played 3-5 times a year until I retired 4 years ago. Now I play virtually every day. These clubs are my first really GOOD set and on average am getting 10 - 20 more yards per club. As far as more accuracy? Well...hah! That is still up to the operator. Working on it.
